Our healthy eating workshops have been designed by our dietitian Heather in line with government nutritional recommendations for children
During this workshop the children will learn about the importance of eating a healthy balanced diet. How different food groups make up the Eatwell Guide and how to plan their own healthy diet.
Our breakfast workshop highlights the importance of eating breakfast and where there may be lots of hidden sugar in common breakfast foods. It also teaches the children how to plan and eat a healthy balanced breakfast.
We work with the children to show them how they can plan and prepare a healthy packed lunch including which foods they might need to leave out of a packed lunch.
*For a small extra fee this workshop can be made into a cook and eat session where children produce a variety of recipes which they then eat for their lunch.
We all know that we should be eating less sugar. This workshop helps to highlight to the children the foods which are high in sugar and foods which may contain hidden sugars. We also cover the government recommendations for sugar consumption.
We teach the children how much fluid they should be drinking every day and which are the healthiest fluid choices to make.

Therefore, schools who embrace improving the health of their pupils can have a positive effect on the academic results of the school as well as having a positive impact on the Ofsted inspection.
We have a wealth of experience working with schools across the country to improve the health of their pupils.
We have developed all our workshops in line with the current PHSE Curriculum guidance and we can also provide links to the National Curriculum where appropriate.
The workshops are written and produced by our expert team of health professionals including a dietitian, psychologist, physical activity expert with input from teachers, and tried and tested on many pupils!
